Recently Enrolled Public Health Students
Welcome to Tufts!
Congratulations on choosing to join our community – now let us help you get started on the journey. Enrolling students need to complete a series of steps to confirm their spot and prepare for their first semester. We’ve included a checklist that outlines key parts of the process, and our team is always here to help address any questions or concerns. We’re glad to have you with us.

Registering for Classes
The process of assigning academic advisors and registering for classes is managed by the Public Health and Professional Degree Programs Registrar's Office.
Starting in mid-April, the Registrar's Office will contact enrolling students via email with information about who will be your faculty advisor and instructions for registering for classes. After April, the Registrar's Office will contact students within two weeks of recieving their enrollment reply form and tuition deposit.
MPH students admitted to the program for the Fall 2021 entry term have the option of registering for courses offered during our summer semester, and registration for new students in the MPH program for Summer I and II will open on April 20, 2021. If you would like to register for summer classes, contact the PHPD Registrar's Office in mid-April to notify them of your plans.
Registration for new students who plan to begin the program in Fall 2021 will open on June 1, 2021.
In the meantime, the following links can help you prepare for your first meeting with your advisor and selecting your courses.
