Congratulations on choosing to join our community – now let us help you get started on the journey. Enrolling students need to complete a series of steps to confirm their spot and prepare for their first semester. We’ve included a checklist that outlines key parts of the process, and our team is always here to help address any questions or concerns. We’re glad to have you with us.

The content on this page applies to all new students beginning one of the following campus-based programs in summer or fall 2020:

  • Master of Public Health (MPH)
  • Bachelor's/Master of Public Health (B/MPH)
  • DMD/Master of Public Health (DMD/MPH)
  • JD/Master of Public Health (JD/MPH)
  • MS in Nutrition/Master of Public Health (MS/MPH)*

Much of the content on this page does not apply to Online Public Health students, who will receive information about enrollment and orientation from their Admissions Counselor directly.

  • Remote Learning in Fall 2020

    The School of Medicine has determined that all MPH coursework offered in fall 2020 will be delivered remotely ensure the safety of our students and larger community during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Virtual Orientation

    Orientation will be held in a virtual format consisting of both live sessions and asynchronous content to be completed at your own pace. Participating in Orientation is required for all new master's degree students.

Registering for Classes

The process of assigning academic advisors and registering for classes is managed by the Public Health and Professional Degree Programs Registrar's Office.

Within one week after we receive your enrollment reply form and tuition deposit, the Registrar will contact you via email with information about who will be your faculty advisor and instructions for registering for classes. In the meantime, the following links can help you prepare for your first meeting with your adivsor and selecting your courses.
