Biography

Dr. Peter Brodeur earned a PhD in Cellular Immunology from Tufts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and completed postdoctoral training in Molecular Immunology at Fox Chase Cancer Center (Philadelphia). He then returned to Boston to join the faculty at Tufts to train pre-doctoral students and to study immunoglobulin gene organization and expression.

Dr. Brodeur teaches immunology in the medical, dental, PA, MBS, and PhD programs. He currently co-directs (with Dr. Jacque and Dr. Heldwein) an integrated first-year Dental School course (Tissue Injury and Host Defense), co-directs MBS Immunology (with Dr. Jacque), and teaches the Immunology section of PA Internal Medicine I. Dr. Brodeur is most passionate about working with the admissions committees of the MD, MBS, PA programs, whose efforts are central to TUSM's mission to educate a diverse body of energetic and collaborative students who are committed to improving the health of individuals and communities.
