Biography

Niobis (Nio) Queiro is the SVP of Revenue Cycle for Wellforce, Inc. in Burlington, Massachusetts. She brings with her 30 years of experience in both the hospital and physician revenue cycle industry. Nio uses her expertise in Lean and Six Sigma to drive change across diverse healthcare delivery channels, hence, bridging the chasm between finance and clinical care. As a change agent Ms. Queiro has been able assist multiple health systems transition to an integrated revenue cycle that met or exceeded HFMA KPI standards. She has overseen collections of over 24B in historical client cash acceleration and over 5B in annual cash recoveries. Niobis has presented in front of Congress as an industry expert for the digitization of the military service men medical records as the lead of the proof of concept project.

Niobis actively contributes her expertise within the industry as a speaker with organizations such as Health Care Financial Management (HFMA), American Essential Hospital Association, Becker’s Hospital Review, and National Association of Access Management (NAHAM). Niobis has been a Board member of the New Jersey and Minnesota chapters of HFMA and The Women’s Health Leadership TRUST.

Niobis continues her dedication to education as an adjunct Professor with Mitchell Hamline School of Law teaching a course titled Healthcare Finance Management and Optimization.
