MaryAnn V. Volpe, MD received her MD degree from Dartmouth Medical School, followed by Pediatric Residency Training at the University of Virginia and subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Tufts Medical Center. She is Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine and Associate Director of the Tufts Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program. She is also Program Chair of the New England Perinatal Society for which she manages all functions, maintain funding and plans annual regional meeting. Her research focuses on lung molecular mechanisms involved in the developmental on lung disease in preterm infants. She is active in mentorship of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine postdoctoral fellows, PhD students, and medical students. She has a strong long-standing educational and administrative involvement in Tufts University School of Medicine.
