Certificates of Advanced Study in Pain Topics

Specialized Study for Experienced Professionals

Our Certificate of Advanced Study in Pain Topics is ideal for professionals looking for a way to further their education on a part-time basis. This abbreviated track focuses in on fundamental topics essential to effectively addressing pain research, education, and policy, including the pharmacology of pain, clinical pain problems and the ethical and sociocultural issues surrounding pain.

You’ll tailor a course of study based on your own learning objectives, and earn 15 academic credits that can later be applied to a full master’s degree. And you’ll find yourself learning from the same nationally and internationally recognized pain management experts teaching in our master’s program.

The certificate program is ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers in fields like medicine, nursing, pharmacy, occupational or physical therapy, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, social workers, acupuncturists or public health practitioners. Students may enroll in one of the following specialized areas of study.
