The Community Health Advocates at Tufts (CHAT) is the first official student group in the Tufts Public Health and Professional Degree Program.  CHAT focus is on health promotion, health policy and engaging the community at local, state and national levels about issues of public health relating to health promotion, disease prevention and management. We are also the first official student chapter of the Massachusetts Public Health Association (MPHA).

CHAT is comprised of Tufts graduate students in health related fields. We are from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Public Health, Health Communication, Medical School, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, and Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning.
