By Amtrak and MBTA Commuter Rail: the bus or train terminal at South Station is a 10-minute walk (about 8 blocks) from the Health Sciences Campus. Walk south on Atlantic Avenue to Kneeland Street, then west on Kneeland Street to Harrison Avenue. Turn left on Harrison Ave. to 136.

By Bus: We are also convenient to many bus lines including the Silver line, 7, 9, 11, 15, 39, 43, 55, 57, 448, 449, 459, 501, 504, 505, 553, 554, 556, and 558.

By Subway: take MBTA Orange Line to “Tufts Medical Center,” exit subway station, cross Washington Street, walk through the Medical Center Atrium to Bennett Street, follow Bennett Street one half block, where it ends on Harrison Avenue, turn left on Harrison, walk one block to 136 Harrison.

Other nearby MBTA stops are “Downtown Crossing” (Red Line, Orange Line) and “Boylston” (Green Line).

By Automobile

From the West and Southwest: via the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rte 90 west), take exit 24A, South Station, stay to the left once you are on the exit ramp. At the bottom of the ramp turn left toward Chinatown. Proceed through five traffic lights (note that some are not active at certain times of the day) — turn left onto Harrison Avenue at the 6th light. For parking, proceed two more blocks and turn left at Tremont Street. The Tufts Medical Center garage is on your left just past the Wang Center.

From the Southeast: via the Southeast Expressway, take exit 20, and immediately get into the left lane. Take the left exit for South Station off the ramp, and continue to Kneeland Street. Go left on Kneeland, continue for two blocks, then take a left onto Harrison. For parking, continue on Kneeland for two more blocks to Tremont St., and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

From the Northeast: via Interstate 95 to Mystic-Tobin Bridge, take the Fitzgerald Expressway (Interstate 93/Route 3). Take Exit 23 (South Station) onto Purchase Street. Continue along Purchase Street, which becomes the Surface Artery. Make a right turn on Kneeland Street. Continue for two blocks on Kneeland before taking a left onto Harrison Avenue. For parking, continue on Kneeland for two more blocks to Tremont St., and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

From the North: via Interstate 93, take the Fitzgerald Expressway (Interstate 93/Route 3) and take Exit 23 (South Station) onto Purchase Street. Continue along Purchase Street, which becomes the Surface Artery. Make a right turn on Kneeland Street. Continue for two blocks on Kneeland to Harrison Avenue, and take a left onto Harrison. From the West and Northwest: via Route 2 to Soldiers Field Road to Storrow Drive, exit at Arlington Street. Proceed straight six blocks to Stuart Street. Turn left on Stuart Street (Stuart becomes Kneeland). Follow Stuart/Kneeland to Harrison, right on Harrison. For parking, follow Stuart/Kneeland only as far as Tremont St. (two blocks short of Harrison Ave.), and turn left. The parking garage is one half block up on your left.

By Cab from Logan Airport

Tufts University School of Medicine is a 15-to-20-minute cab ride from Logan Airport.

They must also meet academic prerequisites such as course work, patient care and tests.
