To meet health care professionals’ increasing demand for high-quality pain education, Tufts University School of Medicine introduced this certificate program to provide a more targeted, postgraduate focused area of study in pain research, education or pain policy. Students in the certificate program join master’s program students to learn from nationally and internationally recognized experts in the dynamic, growing field of pain management.
- Classes held late afternoons / early evenings for working professionals
- Program offers guest student status, allowing qualified individuals to enroll in classes and earn up to 2 credits prior to matriculation
- Rolling admission policy
- All certificates are 5 academic credits.
Students enrolled in the certificate program choose one of four specialty tracks, or concentrations.
All credits earned in a certificate may be applied to the full Master's in Pain Research, Education & Policy program.
