Facilitrainers lead participants through activities, reflection, and dialogue to better understand bias, privilege and the systemic structures that reinforce health inequity.
2015 Global Health Literacy: Co-sponsored by the Tufts Center for Global Public Health, the 2015 forum engaged researchers and practitioners in a discussion of health literacy in a global context, international health literacy research and best-practice, and ideas for future direction in global health literacy.
2014 Health Literacy & Cultural Competency: At the 2014 forum participants considered the value added when integrating health literacy and cultural competency interventions, discussed the need for a common research agenda, and identified next steps towards reaching the shared goal of achieving health equity.
2013 Health Literacy Association: In 2013, participants contributed to the national discussion regarding the establishment of a Health Literacy Association.
